Windsurf just got torn split three ways: Cognition got the product, Google got the founders, and OpenAI got left out. The deal reshaped careers, companies, and trajectory but who felt it the most?
Jeff Wang, CEO of Windsurf, joined us at AGI House this past Sunday. We got to hear his thoughts, but we want to hear from you…

💡 Chris Lattner: Why Current AI Tooling Falls Short
Chris Lattner, CEO of Modular and creator of LLVM/Swift, joined us at AGI House to deep dive into the vision behind Mojo, Modular’s new programming model for AI developers, and the mission to democratize AI compute. Chris unpacks why current AI tooling falls short, the architecture shifts needed to unleash developer creativity, and what it really takes to make hardware-accelerated AI programming accessible to all. Commerce Dinner w/ Stripe, a16z, & B Capital - July 15, 2025
We co-hosted a dinner with Stripe, a16z, and B Capital on Agentic Commerce and Payments, bringing together founders from Shopify, Perplexity, and more. Over the course of the evening, we covered vibe-coded “micro-storefronts,” AI-enabled web-scraping, token-level reinforcement learning, and other ways to catalyze AGI in commerce. The conclusion: autonomous agents will disrupt both ends of the e-commerce stack, for both consumers and merchants, and that a novel payments infrastructure will be a necessity for an AGI-powered marketplace.
